How do I link my bank account using manual verification?

If you choose manual verification, there are two parts to link your bank account. The first part is adding the bank account on the SecureSave website. The second part is verifying the bank account—we'll send two microtransfers (each $1 or less) to your bank account to verify it is yours. It will take 1-3 days for these microtransfers to show up in your bank account. Once you see them, you can verify your bank account on Part Two.

Part One – Link your bank account:

1. Log in to your SecureSave account
2. Click on your name or icon in upper right corner, select Banks
3. Click where it says Link a bank account
4. Select Bank account manual from the list
5. Enter all information on the screen, including routing number, account number, account type, and name of financial institution
6. Click on the Add account button
7. It will take 1-3 days for the microtransfers to show up in your bank account

Part Two – Verify your bank account:

1. Log in to the bank account you linked – look at your recent activity and find the two microtransfers from Secure Inc

2. Log in to your SecureSave account

3. Click on your name in upper right corner, select Banks

4. Under the bank you linked, click on the Verify now link

5. Enter in the amounts of the two microtransfers

6. Click on the Verify Account button

Once your bank account is verified, you can transfer money in and out of your SecureSave Emergency Savings Account.
